We are: The Conservation Action Team (C.A.T.)
I'm sure you are probably thinking, oh great, just another website on how terrible we all are about conserving our precious planet right? That is not this site. CAT is more than a household feline, it stands for CONSERVATION ACTION TEAM, this is a group set about to bring change-to DO something. A team that encourages listeners, family, friends, peers, community members and companies to take action.
Feel free to browse about the site, where you will find numerous links to websites encouraging GREEN(ER) behaviors and tips on easy ways to join in this movement. Calculate your carbon footprint and purchase eco friendly products. Don't forget to check out our sponsor of the week and most importantly spread the word!! Tell us what you think and what you are doing to help go green.

Topic: Meet C.A.T.
This little guy may be cute and cuddly, but he packs some major power! As conservation team leader of all things eco-friendly, our very own Cox Cat is here to help guide and motivate. We, as the Conservation Action Team are dedicated to spreading awareness and promoting change- BIG change. We have adopted 5 initiatives to kick start our message:
The 5 Initiatives:
1.) Change out the lightbulbs in your home to the new CFl bulbs (compact flourescent lightbulbs)
2.) Don't idle in your car (Brought to you by KAIRE)
3.) Home energy audit
4.) Move to electronic banking (Eliminate paper waste and cut down on gas costs by not driving to the atm)
5.) B.Y.O.C. (Bring your own coffee mug/cup to work- eliminate the styrofoam buildup!)
